Tim, the company I used to work for, Linde division, Union Carbide, manufactured pure silicon crystals in their crystal's division. Either I've been away from it too long and things have changed, or as I remember it purity is generated in a silicon purification phase (silicon zone refining), not purification of silica. Wasn't Chuca touting a high purity silica company TVTA or something like that a few years ago? It was as much bullshit and scam as ORXX. ORXX prints putrefied paper as it's only product, always has, always will. <VBG>
