Looks like some more are catching on to UTDL
1 11/16 x 1 13/16. Should be closer to 2, and looking for 2 1/2 if news comes next week or sooner.

SPEEDUS.COM Launches Nationwide SPEED(SM) Portal; Signs Dennis Hopper for Promotional Campaign
NEW YORK, Nov. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- SPEEDUS.COM, INC. (Nasdaq: SPDE - news) today announced the initial launch of its SPEED(SM) portal. Available today at www.speedus.com, the portal will provide visitors with information on the speed of their Internet connection and the availability of high-speed Internet access in their geographical area. In the future, the Company plans to add unique broadband capabilities specifically designed for users with high-speed access to the Internet, including subscribers to the Company's SPEED service pilot program.

The SPEED portal is designed to promote high-speed Internet access on a nationwide basis. Recognizing the increasing demand from Internet users for faster access to information to help them ''live their lives in the fast lane,'' the Company's portal is designed to provide users with information on how to get high-speed access and how to take advantage of offerings available to high-speed users.

For the convenience of users, the portal also provides Internet and technology news, business news and stock quotes, weather, sports news and scoreboards, free e-mail service and other popular topics, and will allow users to customize their version of the portal. The Company has entered into license agreements with popular content providers such as money.net LLC, a financial community which provides real time stock portfolio tracking features, TUCOWS, Los Angeles Times Syndicate, National Weather Services and WAVO Corporation, which delivers real-time feeds from various well-known content providers.

The Company has signed the legendary actor Dennis Hopper for TV commercials, print advertising and web-based promotions of the portal, which are expected to commence in the first quarter of 2000. Mr. Hopper has starred in such movie classics as Apocalypse Now, Easy Rider and Blue Velvet, as well as numerous television commercials. ''The Internet is cool, and can be even cooler.'' Mr. Hopper stated. ''It's big, it's organized, it's convenient, but it's slow. It's got to get up to speed -- that's when it's going to get really interesting. SPEEDUS.COM is a high-speed player and I'm excited about what they're doing.''

In addition to promoting high-speed access for users, as well as SPEEDUS.COM name recognition, the Company will generate revenues from Web site advertising, referral fees and commissions on product sales.

SPEEDUS.COM is a facilities-based super high-speed Internet Service Provider. The Company's Network Operation Center (NOC) in the Brooklyn Army Terminal contains a data center with a Linux-based Internet gateway transmitter and a teleport facility with satellite down links and fiber optic backbone. SPEEDUS.COM also provides standard direct dial-up and ISDN service, as well as web hosting, e-mail and value-added Internet services.

The Company is limiting the marketing of its SPEED(SM) Internet service to a pilot program. SPEED is delivered via 14 Internet Broadcast Stations operating under the Company's FCC license covering Metro New York but the signal is currently not available at all locations in the license area. Increased signal coverage through additional Internet Broadcast Stations is crucial to widespread availability of the SPEED service. The Company is continuing its pilot program but will not be commencing a full marketing effort until, among other issues, new LMDS equipment becomes available on a commercially feasible basis. The Company is exploring strategic alliances for use of its Internet capabilities and resources in the future. In September 1999, the Company announced its equity investment in SPEEDIA LLC, (http://www.speedia.com), a wireless and web-based information delivery service.
