The OSX certainly is short-term oversold and we could get a decent bounce very shortly. The negative sentiment here is another positive.

But I still think a major and sustained turn awaits the making public of some bad news that only a few now know or suspect.

The overall market could be another problem soon. A big hit is highly probably by mid-January at the latest. The grossly overextended techs should bear the brunt of any such hit, but a smash there is bound to have a significant (if perhaps temporary) impact on the rest of the market.
