Ericsson is a little less optimistic than Nokia (at least on overall subs). Yesterday Nokia said that there would be 1 billion subs by 2002....

Quick math....100m 3G users in early 2004. Let's say 25m in 2002 and 75 in 2003.

25m x $500 * .05 /200m = $3.12
75m x $350 * .05 /200m = $6.56

These would be the extra earnings that the Q might expect due to 3G in the first 2 years.....on top of any growth from IS-95. Obviously the numbers are complete guesstimates....
