This mania is like having a huge stream of cash zipping by your window. All you have to do is reach out and grab some. It's great for awhile, until your arm gets ripped off

How clear can it be!

>>huge stream of cash

Unfortunately most people don't comprehend just how much larger that stream of cash can become. Applying greater fool theory, I can easily see the stream becoming far bigger. Only a small portion of the world's wealth is in the equity markets. Most of the world's networking and communications technology companies are in the U.S. As the Internet expands its influence throughout the world, many of those users will invest their capital in the equity of the (U.S.) companies involved. It's easy to feel, in Western countries, that we're technology-saturated, but the rest of the world has a long way to go. And they're all going to buy a lot of goods and services to climb the technology ramp. Along the way they're going to invest in the companies they're exposed to as they climb that technology ramp.

However, I think I've got a pretty good imagination, and no way can I imagine Yahoo being worth nearly a hundred billion dollars. But what good is my power of reason in comparison to the collective opinions of the millions of people buying Yahoo stock?

Best of luck to all; this may well be my last post as I am not interested in paying money for the privilege of sharing my opinions on this forum.
