Chuck, re:<Samsung currently plans to ramp production to 2 million Rambus chips per month by February>

The EETimes article says these are 128 or 144 Mbit chips. Since it takes 8 of these chips to make a 128M RIMM, the typical amount of memory on an i820 PC, this is a piddling amount of memory -- enough for only 250,000 RAMBUS PC's a month.

If the big four match this, its still piddling, IMO.

Chuckles - Re: "I am sensing that the Timna/RDRAM has been picking up tremendous momentum of late. Looks like Intel has officially moved off the dime and committing aggressively to Timna. "

Gee, Chuckles - did you get some better sources finally ?
