Hi gang, Great to be back. Want to say just a couple of things. One, if you thought I was going to come back with some dramatic maudlin statement you are wrong. Just want to say JohnG is a class guy and if my Angels tell me to get off again I will. One of the things that I noticed when I was away and monitoring the thread, was the total lack of conviction by most threaders here that we were going much higher before the split. One has to remember the DYNAMICS of a split by a very desired company consist of two phases. The first of course is when the split is announced and the second is about two weeks before the split actually takes place. Remember how we ran on the announcement of the split, well get ready for another great run in about ten more days. I originally said that the formula I use had us at $469 on split date and then I applied a factor for scarcity and came up with $700 at split. Well I might have overstated the scarcity factor as evidenced by the way the MM's have been able to control the stock at certain junctures but I still see us around $550 or so on the split date! I also was stunned by the assessment by many that a certain degree of danger existed because the stock could stumble and wallow around the low three hundreds etc. listen, there is many criteria by which a stock's inherent characteristics can be adjudicated, and one of the most telling is WHAT A STOCK CAN NOT DO! This stock is the Secretariat of wireless stocks and the one thing we knew about Secretariat and that was that he might not win, but By God he was not going to finish out of the money! That is the same way I view QCOM, it might do this and it might do that but I can damn well tell you this stock cannot go down very much in the time capsule we are presently in, meaning the Split, Handset Division sell as well as great earnings expectations. The other thing that is rarely mentioned and the one thing the leaders of the company have done that struck me right between the running lights was to request the authorization of Three Thousand Million Shares, this is absolutely stunning in itself. It just shows what an unbelievable future this company has, and how they know things we don't. All my apologies to edamo ( I man I hold in high regard ) for being the Rah Rah person on this thread, I do not back up to it at all! I believe everything I say! Selah, Voltaire
