FWIW, John Riggins said that Marino is hurting the Miami running game.

He said that the stationary Marino forces the RB to meet Marino for the handoff too close to the line of scrimmage. This gives the DLs and LBs a smaller zone to focus on for running plays.

Kinda of a good thought. However I bet the problem lies more with OLs rather than Marino.

I guess the difficulty of schedule stat is redundant, considering the Broncos, 49ers and the Colts and Rams this year.

The Raiders had the toughest schedule based on last years won-lost record, but it isnt that tough after all, Broncos twice, Packers, Jets, Vikings, all contributed to that stat.

The Rams probably have the easiest schedule rather than third easiest, due to the fall of the 49ers whom they play twice, both Bengals and Browns play the Colts,Rams, Jags and Titans.

Cheers
