A lot of these designs tools have little dongle widgets as security devices. They could let you D/L design tools to your own workstation which would interact with an internet dongle to their site. At this time, they seem to run the compiler on their host. I just like the idea. My company has a special bias ... we do a LOT of co-design work with clients who have preferences for their own tools: MINC, ORCA, Verilog, etc, etc. The client don't want to part with these tools (licensing, dongles, etc) ... and we don't want to buy a new tool each time. So we do a lot of conversion, essentially. Not your standard situation. I don't see them getting a lot of business until they have a really whizbang toolbox. Great idea, tho.
