cfoent, I meant that the risk is a lot less now than it was in the early days. Q has 1X and many other revenue sources. They also have the respect of the industry, and critical mass. In the early days, they hadn't yet proven themselves or CDMA, so I would imagine that it was probably more difficult to stomach the naysayers, hence a "smaller scale".

I personally believe that HDR has tremendous potential, for a number of reasons which I won't go into at this moment. So basically, I agree with your assessment of "The payoff for high data rate will substantially exceed (dare I say dwarf) what we have seen so far. Maybe not in percentage terms, but definitely in actual dollars".
