Andersen Consulting's conclusions are partly nonsense. In selling chemicals only three things are important, price, price and price. If you are selling for 68 cents a gram and I am selling for 69 cents a gram all the sales skill in the world will not get me any orders. Licensing process know how is an entirely different matter. This definitely requires a great sales force and all the help they can get from software. But Andersen weren't talking about that.
