Oil: No shot meant for you, just wondering if the logic was sound. If the fund managers can and do buy in advance, the
close could be a non-event -- except for precipitating selling the next day.

When AOL was added, the last day was really a non event. There was some imbalance to to buy at market on close but the price was not greatly affected then. I recall because I was long the stock then.

GST: I agree with you, but because of the specific weighting of their funds, perhaps they cannot own YAHOO until it is officially in the index. Anyway, we'll see today.
