Time to buy but don't hold after Dec 22. Could you elaborate on your choice of timeframe. I don't see Y2K as having a large impact on gold either way. The chart of the XAU , as well as individual mining companies, however, appear to be putting in very large basing patterns after an extended bear market. So, the long term picture of gold looks much less bearish than a year or two ago. Thus, I'm curious about your short term bullishness and mid term (long term?) bearishness. TIA

Fair enough that you're happy POG is in the toilet as much as you've shorted it on all rallies, a rather safe strategy for what 18 years now? Oh, yes, I owned Bre-X...quite a high percentage of my speculative portfolio at the time I started accumulating it...started buying around 112ish Canadian, pre-split. So? So much for the ignore list ass-umption<g> I just usually don't find your GPM donations nor BM's "defender on retainer" b/sh*t worth responding to, frankly. However, I must say thank you...for the unexpected plug you gave the Valentine's website this weekend. And they send their thanks as well, as they told me to relay to you...we met them for dinner tonight. O/49r
