Cosmo, you've interpreted the portfolios incorrectly, which is easy to do since they aren't intuitive.

The GKI is a list of ALL of the Gorillas and Kings we've discussed, not a portfolio created for performance. Its intended as a menu for Gorilla gamers. That's why there are a few bow wows in it.

W&W components are likely candidates for the GKI once they've proven their dna. Since our focus is on emerged royalty and simians, we set an arbitrary limit of $10B for admission to the GKI. Note that when Sir Chartmeister assembled W&W, most of the companies were picked because they had ALREADY distinguished themselves by posting huge returns during the first 4 months of the year.

Before someone asks, we placed a freeze on promotions to the GKI for the balance of the year, and will discuss the Y2K version between Christmas and New Years. Oh, and jdsu is a sure thing for promotion <vbg>.
