I posted the following to Yahoo to compare the current market cap of QLTI to DUSA (about a factor of 10 ro 12 to one in QLTI's favor...QLTI is going to get approval for AMD in a week or two) DUSA vs QLTI numbers...the Book by: ajiuo 12/6/99 9:18 pm Msg: 2666 of 2666 Below are the numbers per Deutsche Bank for QLTI and H&Q for DUSA. Given that QLTI is about 12 times the market cap of DUSA, it appears to say that DUSA is going to be A LOT MORE PROFITABLE than QLTI by about a factor of 4 (must have a much better profit sharing deal with their partner) and yield about the same EPS as QLTI in 2001 and 2002. That has to be worth about QLTI's market cap since it is only based on AK revenues and no off label or bladder cancer diagnosis etc. QLTI Rev........2001: 122.2M.........2002: 222.4M QLTI EPS........2001: 0.62..............2002: 1.38 DUSA Rev ........2001: 27.7M.........2002: 61M DUSA EPS........2001: 0.69.............2002: 1.48 The numbers speak for themselves. To be fair to QLTI, Warburg Dillon Reed has more aggressive numbers giving QLTI and EPS of 0.86 instead of 0.69 in 2001. I don't have the rest of WBR's model. The numbers say DUSA could easily add a factor of 10 to catch up with QLTI. If DUSA goes up by 3 nearterm and QLTI comes down by a factor of 3 I will still be happy. Certainly not much risk. Comments? That's The Book. Now we can all wait for The Movie.
