tekboy: Much appreciate your thoughtful rebuttal - and it is "respectful" to boot - in the fine tradition of this thread.

As I just mentioned in my reply to Uncle Frank, I am troubled by the widespread use of a term which can be easily misunderstood and does not reflect reality with regard to the small - even fledgling - young rapidly growing companies which recieve that label here.

Yet I completely agree with the substance of the need to keep this thread concentrated on gorillas and kings, and near term potential gorillas and kings (and princes).

Your point that colleges look to high schools for candidates not to elementary schools or even earlier is very persuasive - an excellent analogy with a good lesson. Clear and effective.
