Thomas- Snap out of it! <g> Eric Raymond wouldn't have a PRAYER with Marlen Cowpland. Anyway, I'm tired of people talking about freeware and cooperation as if it were a concept they just patented. Cowpland is pretty bright. To say he doesn't understand technology isn't fair or accurate. Corel has some top drawer engineers. They *do/will* bring technology to 'Linux'. I think a big bit of that will be interfacing with the Win32 APIs. They contribute to WINE, they work with Cygnus (which should be noted was RedHat's first stop), and they did the deal with GraphON. If the code gets core dumped outta Redmond by decree, as I suppose it will as a remedy in DoJ, Corel's geeks will be of massive help in picking through the hairball. -JCJ
