Maurice: Hear. Hear. Or whatever the proper cheer of support should be in NZ. And perhaps Andrew Viterbi will receive better recognition as the details of HDR are understood by more people. To his great credit he not only saw that voice and data could be transmitted more efficiently side by side, but had the intellectual capacity to make that possible. Again he is representative of the most amazing point with regard to the Q. The men you cite (together will the team they assembled) not only created the means to make CDMA wireless possible in the real world, they made it happen in a very very hostile environment. That combination of skills is rare. And we benefit from it day after day. They deserve our thanks. Chaz
