Graham,
I believe it is that it is two different markets - NYSE and Paris(whatever it is called). So there is two different valuations - I would guess that there are fewer shares traded on the Paris exchange. So you really can't compare the 2 using just the exchange rate, but the exchange rate does affect the price. Does that make sense?

Graham, the ADR that trades in the US represents 1/5th an ALA share.
