Pigboy,

Thanks for the news. ;) It's great to see all of the heavy hitters also involved in The InfiniBand Trade Association.

"The InfiniBand Trade Association is dedicated to developing and promoting the InfiniBand architecture and delivering switched fabric technology. In addition to Intel, the steering committee is comprised of Compaq Computer, Dell Computer, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Microsoft and Sun Microsystems. Additional sponsor companies include Adaptec,Cisco Systems, Fujitsu-Siemens, Hitachi, Lucent Technologies, NEC, Nortel Networks and 3Com."

Oh... where is Brocade ?

A very happy lurker,
Ed

Pigboy,

This is the future of the future. For new investors, Infiniband is the combination of NGIO(next generation I/O) and System IO, the latest standard agreement of the two factions headed by INTC, SUNW, CPQ , IBM, etc. INTC chose Ancor. This news is bigger than the SUNW deal IMHO. Thank you , Ancor, great job, congratulations..
