Wow! I don't own VISX, but know that it has been presented on the thread. It's trading at 48/49 pre-market.

On the other hand, Silverback Cisco's price target raised and it's trading at 100 in pre-market. Weren't we just there last December?

The skills and startup costs for a competitor to suddenly appear
(with complete line of passive and active components) create a huge barrier to entry

And they would have to do so without infringing JDSUs existing patents. Not easy.
