Weekly Jobless Claims = +1k to 293k

In the week ending Dec. 4, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 293,000, an increase of 1,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 292,000. The 4-week moving average was 286,750, an increase of 250 from the previous week's unrevised average of 286,500.

Import Prices for Nov. = +0.5%
Export Prices = +0.2%

The U.S. Import Price Index increased 0.5 percent in
November, the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S.
Department of Labor reported today. The increase--the fifth
in a row--was the same as in October. Export prices were up
0.2 percent in November, after rising 0.3 percent inOctober.
