Now you have seemingly changed your opinion about the protestors from maintaining that they were all totally inarticulate in interviews (including Tom Hayden) to stating they were not clear or unified. How could so many groups of people from essentially four different points of view--labor, the environment, endangered species, and human rights--ever be expected to be unified in their objectives?

I must say they were successful at what one common objective--they got the attention of billions of people, and made the covers of major news magazines with coverage that was generally favorable to them. Is that unsuccessful?
