I believe CSCO is at 100 times FY99 earnings, not sure though

that would make it about 70 times FY00 earnings, not sure again

we should see some ratcheting up of QCOM FY00 earnings soon, especially the latter quarters when HDR products are shipping... what to pay for a gorilla cash cow?... I say at least what that joke AOL receives... they got a 300 PE with no more than 1/5-th the earnings growth (relative to PE)... for QCOM you gotta factor in 99% market share of CDMA inevitably and very serious production ramps

Surprisingly low if msft is a valid example. Have you looked at their recent quarterly reports? A virtual money tree.

True, true, and true. I don't think it can be said enough. Much better than discussing the merits of temps, shorts, and other 'gutter' talk. Yes, I'm guilty too.
