Check out the 2 year chart of GERN. They release basically the same news over and over again. They've been closing on the cure for cancer for 2+ years now.. and even if it works, it's not going to happen within 5 years..

GERN is definitely a long term hold if you have the assets to set aside, but they need a product rather than a laboratory announcement in order to sustain anything other than a spike. Given their patents and research record, the product announcement seems only a matter of time.
