The thing that bothers me most about Podhoretz is he smeared the anti-Semite label on the great Russell Kirk. He also hinted that Chesterton and Belloc were anti-Semites. These are totally unfounded charges against these great men. We have a pipsqueak trying to topple giants here. I don't know what his angle is. He seems gripped by some mania.
