I think Suzanne was on her way to meet someone -- but why was she keeping her destination a secret? The answer to that question is critical.

You may be jumping the gun here... and then again maybe you aren't. Did Suzanne in fact have a secret destination, such as a rendez-vous with someone, or was she just out for a stroll, or was she in fact taking a different more roundabout route back home? One thing is for sure, I think you've hit upon the most crucial unknown that will help make this "guess" easier: where exactly was she last seen alive? All we know "officially" is she was last seen "walking north on College Street."

Had it been between Phelps Gate (where she returned the keys) and Elm Street, about a 100 yard range, then she very well could have taken a left turn and was headed home. Right now all we know is that the person who last saw her was on her way back from the Yale hockey game that was about a mile straight up the road on College St (which is called Prospect Street that far up). We know this person was on her way to an off-campus party. It has always been my assumption that the sighting was somewhere midway in that route since once you cross over Elm on the way to Phelps Gate you've pretty much passed the area where off-campus parties are. However, others I've talked to always have assumed it was right in that 100 yard stretch.

I have calls in to people that say they can find the mysterious person who last saw her and will let me know the exact spot.
