Neo, I don't want to get into a debate about Christian differences but, who empowered the priest to stand in for Christ? There is no justification for this in any Bible I have read, but it may be in the specially edited edition used by the hierarchy of the Catholic church. IMO, no human can be empowered by another human to represent Christ, and I know of no special annointing, by the Lord, of any priests, other preachers, to stand in for Him. Some are annointed to preach His Word, but only THAT.
