A pretty insightful summation of the current DELL situation.I think DELL is making a slow but sure recovery and the 1st quarter of 2000 should see DELL back on track.If it could somehow get past 45 then 50 should be doable.

And the silly questions you raised could have been solved by AMD?

I agree that Intel is not helping out the pc makers right now, but this is also short term.

Nothing you mentioned in both your post answered what I asked. There are problems right now, but Althon has yet to be the answer(in the future?).

And by getting where they are I implied a successful, growing, profitable company. Must have been someone from the Amd thread that PMed you, they would not know of these. I hope AMD the best I don't want to go further into Intel / Amd bashing that is well covered on other threads.
