Paul - Most normal, rational human beings wouldn't need a dictionary to know that the journal's initial decision to publish GUMM's study was an "acceptance" and a validation of its results and methodology. The "withdrawal," which was plainly stated to have been for extraneous reasons (the excessive publicity, or whatever), clearly was not intended to, and did not, convert the initial "acceptance" of the study into a "rejection." Even someone who doesn't know the difference between "college" and "graduate school" surely knows that, so why don't we simply correct the blatant distortions for the benefit of free-thinking potential investors without arguing with him directly?

BTW I picked up a smidgen more GUMM today. Couldn't take advantage of the buying op yesterday but what's a point or so when the upside is 10 or more? -Eric
