Thats not what I'm saying. I have no problem with materialism, because it is synonymous with capitalism. I believe in capitalism, and building things, creating wealth etc. I also happen to believe that 2 parents working like mad towards a capitalistic purpose are GREAT role models for their kids, especially the girls. But thats jmo... the difference is, I don't stand up on a podium and make some sweeping judgement call as if I am some kind of authority on the matter, and then, turn around and contradict my own "ideals" when a plum financial opportunity presents itself ala "Bennett". I think Bennett and Bork and some of these other guys should actually get a real job for a change and do something with themselves instead of making a career out of criticizing everybody else. Dr. Koop is a good example of somebody doing some good for himself and others with his website. I don't agree with Koop on everything either, but at least he has my respect... Bennett does not.
