And bless those brave souls who then went and fought to win the war that followed including my uncles, Donald O'Brien (1941-Army Air Corp-Pacific Theatre-Radioman/B-21 involved in New Guinea campaign through to the end), Terry O'Brien(1941-Army-involved as a foot soldier from fourth wave on one side of the Channel slogging through to Germany) and my brother in law's father, Robert Evans (1941-Army-from the second wave onto Normandy through to Germany.) Pardon this bit of personal flag waving but I am inordinately proud of these men as well as those others of my family that served in Korea and VietNam.
