Could we possibly stick to subjects that were brought up on this thread?

Personally, I don't see any point in dragging over here old arguments from other threads, particularly since most of the rest of us don't know (and I would presume to say don't care) what the who-shot-John was all about in the first place.

(In case Bill Vaughn is listening: not an attempt at censorship, Bill...just an appeal to common sense.)

This statement is posted often on SI (not just from you), but I never really could see the point. It is really kind of a silly thing to say since the target of the accusation usually does in fact "take it" and he usually fires back a similar one line flame. Seems that each time this statement is used, both sides are dishing and taking at the same time.

It's a useless cliche, wouldn't you agree?
