Cheryl,

Spoken like a true blue Sun Microsystems employee.
Do you work in marketing or public relations. I suspect marketing. A good PR person would be much more tactful than you. <G>

Is this a religion or a business? Dog has brought up many interesting points and issues but you either do not comprehend or like the true cynic only use facts that support your own sh_ill position.

:)

Cheryl -
OK, I promised to be nice, so I will only talk about the things in your post I agree with.

you still haven't given any reasons why the Starfire is anything less than SUNW claims it is.

I think the Starfire IS everything SUNW claims it is. Have not said anything to the contrary.

If it fills a market requirement that means it works and therefore customers buy it.
It fills a unique customer requirement - not only do customers buy it, they really can't get anything similar anywhere else. Bravo!!

I think you are a disgruntled, former SUNW employee with an axe to grind.

LOL!! I am a gruntled, cooth and kempt former microchip designer who slid downhill into the richer fields of systems consulting many years ago... but thanks for the thought.
