But if you look at the Yen/$ rate, which I do daily, it ain't coming from Japan. Also once Y2K turns out to be a bust, it will be interesting to see where the money goes?

Also all of that Liquidity is extremely Leveraged.

It might be profit taking time.

Greed is O.K. in moderation LOL!!!..but this is EXTREME!

people are afraid they will not be in for the early January party in anticipation of 4th q earnings, particularly in the e- commerce (I think it is getting overblown a little).
I asked the UPS delivery person yesterday about volume of Christmas packages. He said e-tailers are making up a lot of his package deliveries. I know e-tailers are discounting heavily to get sales so it sounds reasonable that their earnings may be low but on fairly large increases in sales.
