I've had many spectacular returns from various stocks in my portfolio. In fact, in spite of LONE, my portfolio has now gained 75% for the year. Thinking about LONE, a very rare foray for me into the land of bulletin board stocks, keeps me aware of my human frailty, perhaps to an unhealthy degree. My New Years resolution is to pray to God that I think clearly and act rationally (the presumption being tha I haven't always done so in the past, especially in this case) before each and every investment decision I make in the future; and that I learn from the moral of each bad investment decision I have so far in my life in the hope that I don't repeat it and thus increase my odds of success.

If your feeling mean spirited or a bit depressed from LONE's deplorable condition, I suggest that a re-viewing of the movie A Christman Carol (the second version with Alastair Sims) might provide an antidote for the blues.
