I've gone back over my notes and for the life of me I can't figure out where I recall Suzanne having a backpack. The people I talked to today said they were pretty sure she did not. Yes, this is another important detail I need to nail down. Another is whether she changed her clothes from the party. My theory is that if she changed her clothes prior to returning the keys it would be less likely she was planning to return home directly afterwards.

<Re: The backpack>: I do not recall reading any articles that stated Suzanne had a backpack that was with her (at the scene where she was found, nor while she was walking). From Jeff's post, I assume he is following-up on that issue.
