Joan, This is almost heaven. The only bad thing is that I probably won't be able to go to the Sugar Bowl. If it wasn't so late (Jan 4) I would be able to go, but the higher-ups keep talking about my "responsibilities" and "priorities." -g-

Hi Joan: The VT team has heart ! Anthony Midget in the Miami game came up lame after nursing a hamstring injury for two weeks. The coaches were trying to get him to leave the game knowing that Kenny Kelly was going after him. They put Santana Moss out wide to the left in man to man coverage on Midget. Midget had three straight plays called to his side of the field, two of them post patterns. Midget defended Moss perfectly all three times and would limp back to the defensive huddle after each play. He got a standing "O" after that series of downs and then the coaches finally got him to leave the field. No surprise that Midget got 3rd string All American yesterday....Look for Midget to match up to Warrick as free safety most of the evening on Jan 4th..

Joan: It just came out that the play showing Michael Vick scoring on Temple in the 70 yard run that made the national highlight reel was a busted play. Vick had his play band on upside down, because he left his in the locker room and had borrowed the reserve QB's . He was supposed to roll out to the right and because he was reading the band upside down ( he is left handed and the reserve QB is right handed) he went left instead. Hope you enjoy the trivia. gregor
