Happy Bids,

My thoughts about the S&P 500 here for what it is worth.

I see an approach of short term support on the daily charts, and would expect some upward movement here, but the weekly charts indicate that the daily rally may fail near or below current resistance.

Hope that helps, but I see little value to the individual stockpicker!

Jack

Before you get too excited about yesterday's activity, bear in mind that the price of BJCT right now reflects a 1:5 reverse split which occurred several months ago. The price of 6 5/16 therefore represents an equivalent price of $1.25/share pre-split when BJCT was being followed on this board quite some time back. Having said that, its current level is about a 100% rise from where the stock had been recently shortly after the reverse split, and follows several days of constant upward movement without any news. Furthermore, what is even more puzzling is why this stock skyrocketed intraday to $15 and then plummeted back down to around the 6 - 7 range for the remainder of yesterday. Any explanation?

happy, you tell me if it is a popper...
Rules:
1)Stock has over 3 million shares on break day
2)Stock does a huge spike and then corrects for a few days
3)Fast stochastic 8 period moves under 20 line
4)Stock fails to take out prior day low
5)Stock does at least a 66% pullback...
6)Basically little overhead where stock made original spike

Congrats to all VRTL holders, a 5 bagger, and another gizzard that turns into a gemstone....
All Hail Adam Smith, best turnaround analyst on Silicon..
