Investor Update: November 17, 1999 Suite101.com Real People Helping Real People. November 17, 1999 Dear Investor, My name is Sara McGladdery and I am the new Director of Investor Relations at Suite101.com, Inc. This is the first of what will be monthly updates on the progress and developments of Suite101. MARKETING AND SUITE GROWTH The first four weeks of the Friends and Family SuiteStakes and the Member Affiliate Program have been very successful. Our daily membership numbers have grown from 150 new members a day to over 500. On Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, we set a new daily record with 1019. This is great news for Suite101 and a big step towards reaching our goal of 250,000 members by Mar. 31, 2000. This brings our total membership to 62,000. Please follow the links below for more information. Winner's Circle: suite101.com Member Affiliate Program: suite101.com Suite has also experienced a large surge of traffic over this period. According to PC DataOnline, our site received approximately 7.9 million page views in October of 1999. Another server will be installed next week to help balance the extra load. As one of the first sites to engage people rather than software (search engines) to find the best information on the Net, our Directory now boasts 800 Contributing Editors, who contribute articles, links and host topical discussions on individual topics of interest. ADDITIONAL FEATURES We're preparing an official launch of SuiteChat, Member Homepages, and SuiteMail. All of these features have proven to be popular additions to the site. Current projects include the overhaul of our content classification and cataloguing by our Cybrarian, an expansion of our Affiliate Program, and site scalability and hosting. GII AWARD FINALIST Suite101.com has been named a Finalist in the 4th Annual GII Awards. The Global Information Infrastructure (GII) Awards program is one of the Internet industry's premier leadership initiative honoring a wide variety of businesses, organizations, and communities. NORTH AMERICAN TRAVELS Peter Bradshaw, Suite's CEO, and Julie Bradshaw, Managing Director, are on the road again. Peter and Julie are travelling west to east meeting a variety of investors, potential strategic partners, and bankers across the States before heading north to Toronto, returning to Vancouver on November 23rd. Peter and Julie will not be going to Europe on this trip but intend to be there in the new year.
