"...Can you point the way to the reference where George Gilder slammed fc? Wow, is that true that he called it a fad? !!! ..."

Leeza,

In short, no. Not because it doesn't exist, but because I don't remember where I read it. I think it was either Forbes ASAP or Red Herring, but again, my brain is too fried to remember. I'll try to find it, but it might take me a while.

Mark

Leeza, here's an excerpt from today's Individual Investor ( online ) Market wrap. Note the adjective " widely supported Infiniband interconnectivity architecture"
ROFLMAO!!!! BRCD "turned down Intel! a Niche market! This reminds me of the Chinese philosopher Confucious who said about the "Law of Holes"...."when you are in one, stop digging". Perhaps TSCM's "cult" readers can name A-HOLE after Herb <g>:

from Individual Investor Online:

<<Network computing company Ancor Communications (NASDAQ:ANCR - news) gained $23 to $85.88 after it announced that chipmaker Intel (NASDAQ:INTC
- news) would invest $14.8 million and buy 280,000 shares. The companies aim to develop switches based on the widely supported InfiniBand interconnectivity
architecture. Shares of Intel fell $0.69 to $77.19.>>
