Earth to WT!!
Great idea for a thread, needs more attention, I should say. I would think WTs credibility should be somewhat established in at least one of his picks that I noticed, and bought for a profit today..GOJO. Looks like a winner. It was a tough decision though, from all that you both gave.

My favorite double candidate: CCUR
Concurrent Computer Corporation makes the servers that will soon be responsible for streaming video movies to your television ON-DEMAND. Cable co.s have significantly upgraded their networks into the digital platform, and will roll out set-top boxes that will replace VCRs. A remote will help navigate through a menu of movies and content, and you can play them anytime, with full VCR type functionality as you are viewing (pause, RW, etc.)

This company is one of a handfull that makes them, and they are integrated into Scientific Atl and GIC set-tops. Aside from this new technology, they have a separate, profitable real-time h/w s/w biz, has been funding research and dev. of the former.

Video technology has many other applications besides residential delivery...as in medical, educational, intranet, etc., and they have had purchases in each. This is all in its infancy, and this company has made a living off this technology for over 30 years (they use their real-time technology for video streaming).

Has had a gain (I have been in since 2), but this is all without 1 actual deployment (which will be concentrated beginning NOW).

Could be 35 a year from now.

Let's get some more picks!!

WT,

Thanks for your posts. Some of your picks look very interesting. I'll be doing some more research on them soon. Do you have any picks for B2B companies focusing on the internet? I think B2B along with wireless communications and backbone companies dealing with the hardware of e-commerce will also be hot. What's your opinion on hot sectors?

Thanks,
Earthdog
