I don't think deflationary forces will win out either..just because the European and Asian economies will take over and eventually
the dollar will probably start falling against the euro etc.
As for asset inflation-I can't believe any of place except Silicon Valley and San Francisco and possibly Denver can compete with
bubble in Manhattan-it has already happened here that it is difficult
to find affordable housing in the boroughs..people are getting pushed further and further out..read that since more people own their own
homes than stocks, that is where the wealth effect spending is coming from..but I keep on wondering if states are going to soon raise property assessments and then property taxes which might cut into
the savings from lower mortgage rates..
But I still see deflationary forces because of global economy as
long as dollar is high..I am waiting to read how high tech companies
will win and allow more immigrants into this company for hi tech jobs,etc.. still think middle men are getting killed because of the internet..I even see Walmart getting hurt because if they sell over the net, their products will include most state sales tax.. as I
mentioned before have you ever gone to killerapp.com
to do comparative shopping for high tech items etc.. why go to your
local store when you can find great prices and not pay sales tax..
or deja.com geez it even helps find reviews for you..
I agree re education..I agree re Bill etc.. but I think so many families need two incomes to get by and are still in debt..the middle class is no longer the middle class..their wages aren't keeping up
with all the price increases..
