bb;i can tell you from my own boomer experience, i need viagra and my eyesite is going way south -ggg- I'm a boomer as well, class of 54 and i'd like to agree with you here.....adding hearing to the list......got my first pair of "reading glasses ($2.99 as Walgreens, so I can read the fine print). The other stuff about about money and wealth creation....I'll credit the head technical analyst at ML (featured in Barron's maybe 6 months ago) on that one. As to it being crap or not I don't know. I'll say that from my sophmoric view of "economics" and what's going on now in the USA as we speak I buy the argument. That said I'm not so bullish on the 1st/2nd qtr of "00" as I do expect things to slow down for a variety of reason's. Anyway this market has two faces.....mature business's that have been headed to the toliet for the past 1 1/2 years and the "new economy businesses" that have been chased relentlessly since we came out of the October correction......28 ipo's next week alone some of which are being values at metric's such as 60X sales or revenues and noone has a clue as to who will be around in 3 years, let alone make any money......its like a big ponzi scheme. Everyone is buying into the deal because its a win win deal for all who play (VC, Banker, IPO, brokerage and client, not to mention the public), except the value oriented guy who thinks he can short this crap and go have a cigar. These instant "valuations" created when stock jumps 3-5X offer and goes up another 1000% in the first year is like printing money.....to hell with M1, M2, M3 and the Federal Reserve......wall street can now print what they need to really feed the bull.....money. When does it stop, and what will happen? Best Regards, Mad2 BTW keep vigil on the wall of worry Bobby, because if you go bullish I know the end is near.....and it'll be ugly:-))
