William: Hey. I tried "over and out" on shiny pebbles, but since you seem to have my concern over the widespread use of the term here backwards, here goes again.

What I was trying to say is what you seem to be saying - young growth companies are not repeat not like a stones on a beach.

Their primary characteristic is rapid growth, That is not repeat not the primary characteristic of pebbles - although size is.

That is a major problem I have with calling them pebbles (shiny or otherwise)

Out (again)

PS Very much agree with your snowball suggestion. That fits the small rapidly growing companies well - as long as there is a hill around for them to roll down and grow.
