Consider the issue that Sun's press release came out after the market. That being the case, Citrix stock rose 15% on the only news of the day that it has slightly more competition. Go figure.

And you want me to guess today's movement in the price? :)

I do find it interesting you think it might make a difference though.

No, I don't think the news will affect Citrix. I was only guessing that the news was the only reasonable explanation of the substantial increase in the price of the stock. I'm awful at justifying price increases after the fact. I'm even worse at justifying them before the fact. :)
