Jim,

Web/MD is among a growing list of service-oriented sites targeted at the general public. The normal market for physicians and other allied health care workers.

Medsite is a service which targets physicians and allied health care workers.

With two different markets with different needs, I would see these sites as complementary services and not competitive. However, there may an advantage to merge in the future!

humbly, Dean

Jim

Medsite is a business-to-business company for the medical industry. It is in the sales business (medical supplies, books, etc.) with continuing medical education and numerous financial services for the medical community thrown in for good measure.

Healtheon/WebMD is largely a business-to-consumer company and does not offer any overlapping services with Medsite.com and does sell anything. Healtheon also offer patient document handling services for medical professionals which is also out of Medsite.com's domain.

Two completely different business... the only similarity is that they are both in the medical business.

Best Regards
KEITH
