OEI down 1/2 to $6 3/8 on very little volume. WOW!!!

Reminds me of the TV commercial for Mercata...

"Its down, its down, ITS WAY DOWN...."

What a horrible last 6 weeks this has been

>> What the hell is wrong with OEI??? That stock is cursed, ask size seems to always be 6 to 7 times higher then bid no matter how far they bring it down.<<

I beginning to learn that a favorable mention on SI is like the kiss of death on a down turn. It attracts too many weak hands who read this thread in passing or who are simply momentum investors.

Granted part of the action is due to it's trade price (sub 10). If it were trading in the 30's I don't think it would have fallen as much.

Funny thing is gas prices are up after the API and DOE's. Does it matter? Guess not keep selling those expensive oil stocks so we can buy more techs.

This sector more so than any I've seen is controlled solely by the funds. At least with techs you have a chance because you're playing against other individual investors. This is pure BS. Trimming, but still holding. Very soon the spin will change.
