i'm getting a lot of anecdotal evidence of wild price rises, from health care costs to movie tickets. the only thing the price of which seems to continue to plunge is computers. i hereby invite everybody to contribute by listing recent price increases they have experienced themselves...i'm collecting the anecdotes to arrive at a better picture of what inflation is really doing. my guess is it is already running at a 5% or higher annual rate.
