It's not just the recent developments, but the growing mountain of developments. This ipo thing is just not sustainable. I have to believe that when historians (or we investors, for that matter ;>) look back on December '99, they (we) will say, "The writing was all over the wall."

I also doubt that a significant pullback will occur in '99, btw.
